How to solve the wick of the aromatherapy candle is too short and cannot be ignited?

I really want to complain about some aromatherapy brands’ wicks! Even with clever lids, the wick still burns too quickly!

Has anyone experienced situations where the aromatherapy candle wick is too short, making it difficult to light or causing it to go out halfway?

Here’s a particularly practical trick to share:

  1. First, ignite the candle and wait until the wax in the middle has melted (if the wick cannot be lit, use a hairdryer on the highest setting to melt it).
  2. Take any brand of cotton makeup pad at home, cut a small piece, and roll it into a small strip.
  3. Dip the cotton strip into the candle wax 🪔
  4. Use tweezers to push it forcefully into the candle, preferably right next to the original wick.
  5. Light it up, and you’re good to go! 🔥
